NoseyHound Head Collar

Description

NoseyHound is a Patented adjustable Head Collar specifically designed to help ordinary owners walk their dog in a calm and controlled manner, avoiding pulling or lunging.

The collar fits comfortably over the head with a nose strap, it is intended to have a loose feel until the dog moves forward in front of the handler. The collar will tighten until the the dog either submits or returns to the heel position. When the dog moves forward the handler will only need to hold a firm grip on the leash, the collar will tighten and the dog will realize quickly you are in control, no words are needed at this point. As soon as the dog submits you may continue your walk. [ Let’s go ] This exercise may have to be repeated several times over the next few days as some dog breeds are slower learners. Occasionally the nose band will slip off the nose, simply put it back on and continue walking. View the video on how to adjust the nose band.

NoseyHound is a fully adjustable Head Collar as seen in the video, it is intended to fit most dogs in the 25lb. to 125lb. range that have an extended nose. [ no flat faced dogs like pugs ] It is very important the nose band fits loosely, allowing the dog to eat and drink comfortably. Occasionally the nose band may slide off the nose, simply slip it back on and continue walking. See the How to Video for making adjustments.

There a several nose band colors to choose from and a short leash attached.

NoseyHound is intended as a training Head Collar, not to be left on the dog while sleeping, resting or riding in the car as they will chew the rope.
